Boat Man WINS Award

Orlando Video Marketing

By:  Craig Kotilinek

We WON!!!!  The agency is all a buzz lately as we found out our super hero creation of Boat Man, for the US Coast Guard, took 1st place for Video PSA category at the International Boating and Water Safety Summit (IBWSS) for 2018.  We are so proud of our Orlando video marketing team!  Boat Man exists solely on the concept that everyone who participates in all water sports and boating industries should enjoy learning about the safety and techniques when out on the water.  Period!  What better and unique way to learn than to create a super hero with absolutely no power but he can tell you everything you need to know about being safe when enjoying water activities.  Yes!  Boat Man will save the day!

Operation Dry Water
We used a jib to create more dynamic movement and maximize the effect of the law enforcement vehicles.

By:  Craig Kotilinek

Operation Dry Water is an action by law enforcement across the country to bust drunk boaters. The operation is year-round and puts enormous amounts of law enforcement officers on duty arresting impaired boaters. CSK Creative shot and edited this PSA in Kentucky, and fun fact, it’s actually me getting the cuffs slapped on me in the thumbnail of the video. Good times. Here’s the video.

Law enforcement brought out a half dozen vehicles—boats and otherwise—to really make an impression for the last shot, so we brought out our handy eight-foot mini jib and did a crane move up for maximum effect. Under high-pressure situations like this, where everything has to be right, CSK Creative shines. We bring multiple cameras in case something happens to one of them and we need to switch over to a backup, which does happen.

If your videographer is only bringing one camera to a shoot it might be time to start asking yourself what would happen if you took all the time and money to set up your shoot and his or her camera breaks. Pretty scary thought when you only have once chance to get the shot.

Social Media Video

By:  Craig Kotilinek

The University of New England wanted a social media video created for its Masters of Social Work program so they contacted CSK Creative to bring out two separate feels from the same library of content.

The first social media video needed to be actual interview footage with some integrated text that would engage viewers even if they didn’t have sound on. The second video had interviews with more content but less integrated text callouts. The marketing video team is currently testing each video to see which is the most engaging.

The balance between creating short videos and providing enough content to be useful is especially important in social media videos and CSK Creative can help toe the line in a single video or create two separate videos to engage two separate types of viewers. Contact us for a quote or to discuss more about your social media video needs today.

A New Product Release Video for JVC Empire

By:  Craig Kotilinek

JVC contacted CSK Creative Agency to produce a product release video from start to finish for their new consumer camera line, the JVC Everio Quadproof.  JVC being a pioneer in the camera industry, we were thrilled to be able to strategize and develop a visually stimulating marketing project for their company.  Hope you enjoy!

Quadproof means it’s ready to withstand water, sand, snow and shock from being dropped so CSK Creative and the Florida Videographer team were tasked with coming up with a way to demonstrate all these things in a cost-effective way.

Jordan Spieth 90-foot Putt

Screen-Shot-2015-06-10-at-12.06.34-PM (1)

Watch the video here.

When Golf Digest called us to shoot an interview with Masters champion Jordan Spieth, we immediately complied. When they told us the original concept, we got even more excited. They planned to do a “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” video with Spieth, but alas, being the most buzz-worthy golfer on the planet at the moment, his handlers said the barely-legal-to-drink Spieth would not be participating in anything that could potentially tarnish his sterling reputation.

What did they land on? A video of Spieth making a 90-foot putt (double his longest bomb on tour at the time) in the hotel hallway. The Golf Digest team tried for an hour to no avail, so we knew we had a formidable challenge for the young ace, and if that wasn’t hard enough, they decided to hit him with a series of pop-culture questions to try to crack his now-legendary Masters Champ concentration.

With the footage Cy Cyr and I shot, Golf Digest created the Jordan Spieth 90-foot Putt video and a behind the scenes video of his cover shoot.

Video: NJIT Marketing

Screen-Shot-2015-03-04-at-11.15.16-AM (1)

The New Jersey Institute of Technology Is one of the most progressive technology institutes in the world, but they don’t have the notoriety of a school like MIT, and the difference is marketing. That’s why NJIT came to CSK Creative to produce a shoot with both photos and video of the faculty with one environmental video as the centerpiece.

The video featured Cristian Borcea, Associate Professor of Computer Science at NJIT, discussing high-level technology challenges on the horizon. The video is intended to usher potential students into the site and catch their attention as well as their imagination to the potential of a career in Computer Science with a degree at NJIT.

The photos were all environmental portraits with the faculty in locations that made them feel comfortable. The faculty all had busy schedules and plenty of prior commitments so we shot all our interviews and photos with minimal disruption. The final result was a website that was not only extremely clean and aesthetic, but also informative. We couldn’t be happier with the result.
